The “Life-Mobile” with the Icon took the road to Torrelavega, an industrial city to the southwest, and there drove round the streets on the way to the Discalced Carmelite Convent of San Luis y San Fernando (St. Louis and St. Ferdinand).
The Community, wearing their ceremonial capes, wear waiting to greet Our Lady of Czestochowa, and their church bells pealed joyfully to announce her arrival. The sisters carried the Icon into their Chapel, where Our Lady was to be venerated by them that night and all the following day. The Carmelite nuns afterwards said that the presence of Our Lady of Czestochowa had been a momentous occasion.
On December 20, the Asturias Pro-Life workers came to take the Icon of Our Lady to their region.
